Lindsay DeCamp, MHA

State Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services

Lindsay is the state suicide prevention coordinator in the Injury and Violence Prevention Section at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Lindsay leads the day-to-day operations and implementation of the Transforming Youth Suicide Prevention in Michigan program, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). She brings over a decade of experience in suicide prevention and mental health, including managing suicide prevention initiatives for military populations and implementing evidence-based mental health programs throughout Michigan communities.  With a background in psychology and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration, Lindsay combines public health expertise with strategic leadership. She has also served two terms on the State and Territorial Advisory Committee of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center, contributing her knowledge to national suicide prevention efforts.
