Integrated Mental Health Project Manager/EAP Therapist, Henry Ford Health Enhance Employee Assistance Program
Christine Hilton earned her BA from Michigan State University and Masters in Social Work from Wayne State University and has been working in behavioral health for over 25 years. She is experienced in all levels of adult mental health care including assessment, intake, and inpatient treatment. She recently took on the role of Integrated Mental Health Project Manager for Henry Ford Health Employee Assistance Program where she coordinates the system’s Post Crisis Response Team, teaches Mental Health First Aid classes to leaders, and supports employees with evidenced based short term treatment. She is the former supervisor of the Henry Ford Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program, which received the 2025 Kevin’s Song organizational Save A Life Award. She has been intensively trained by Behavioral Tech, LLC in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based treatment designed to reduce self-harming and destructive behaviors. In her work in behavioral health she has implemented process improvements as part of Michigan’s MIMIND project and the system’s Zero Suicide initiatives. She has facilitated break-out sessions on Dialectical Behavior Therapy during past Kevin’s Song conferences. She remains active in her local community in spreading awareness about suicide prevention and mental health issues. She is a member of the Grosse Pointe Family Center’s Association of Professionals, the Association of Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare, and recent member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Outside of Henry Ford Health, Christine has a part time private practice in the Metro Detroit area. Her approach to treatment is validation of the client experience while also pushing for behavioral change to help the client improve life satisfaction. Christine appreciates the mentorship of her Heny Ford Behavioral Health colleagues past and present whom have inspired her in this field.
