Seth Persky
Seth Persky is the director of the Office of Family Advocate, a unit within DHHS Children’s Services Agency which focuses solely on issues of child welfare. Seth started his career as a foster care worker and then worked as a supervisor with Michigan’s progressive Family Preservation programs. He served as a specially certified trainer for the state for over 10 years, developing and presenting trainings to thousands of staff and community members on all topics involving family preservation and child welfare. Seth obtained his Bachelors of Psychology and Masters of Social Work from University of Michigan and lives in Detroit Michigan.
