Karen M. Marshall
I am a former AIHFS Board member and volunteer with the Sacred Bundle youth suicide prevention program, now very happily working full-time on the project. Community-based suicide prevention is so close to my heart, and I particularly enjoy teaching and training life-saving skills. My professional career began as a journalist with the Lansing State Journal, and I was a reporter for print and broadcast organizations for many years. For the past nearly 25 years, I have been involved with suicide prevention, intervention, and post-vention in several areas of the country. I’m glad to be back in my home state of Michigan, and to be working with this community!
